I’m amazed that there exists no comments with a topic as such. I will Quote two men on this very subject, one Israeli and one US Marine.
1.Similarly, certain countries in our region(Middle East) would do well to recognize that old style Totalitarian Governments, apart from their other defects, cost enormous amounts to run.
The apparatuses of repression-Secret Police Forces, lavish displays of military power, vast machinery to support the Personality Cult, State organizations dedicated to the stifling of dissent and the formenting of fear-are all hugely expensive.
In addition to depriving ordinary people of their Liberty and Human Rights, these organs of absolutism rob the common folk of the bread that is rightly theirs.
